How to roll

  1. Choose soft toss, normal throw, or power throw.
  2. Press Roll die or focus the button and press Enter or Space.
  3. Read the result from 1 to 6. Roll again when the animation finishes, or clear the recent results.

Example: move a game piece

If your result is 4, move your piece four spaces. Your next roll can repeat the same number. Recent rolls are shown newest first and do not change future selection.

What determines the result?

The browser selects one of six equally weighted values using JavaScript’s Math.random, then animates the die to show that value. Throw style affects the animation, not the face weights. Each face has a model probability of 1 in 6; a short series need not contain equal counts.

This page rolls one standard d6. It does not provide d20 or other polyhedral dice, a physical dice simulation, cryptographic randomness, or statistical certification.
